Our cafe runs on a pay-what-you-feel basis, but those contributions only cover about half our running costs. Although we receive generous donations of fruit, veg, flowers, coffee, and most importantly, lots of volunteer hours, we still have many costs to cover including purchasing tea, spices, takeaway containers, extra bread and vegetables, kitchen tools, IT resources, cleaning supplies, along with paying our manager (hello!), and renting the St Mary’s Centre two days a week.

In keeping with our pay-what-you-feel model, please donate whatever you can to help us continue to build a community aimed at fighting social isolation and food insecurity in Hackney.
